Drömmer om omslagen

Med bebis, jobb, renovering, utmaningar och två bokklubbar blir det inte så mycket tid över till nöjesläsning - mina bokhyllor sväller över av härliga chick lits som jag suktar efter men aldrig hinner läsa... Trots detta vill jag ha fler - jag älskar omslag och de drar mig till dem. Jag tänker att mitt liv blir så mycket bättre om jag har dem i min ägo, att boken måste vara lika fantastisk som omslaget/titeln.

Hur många Woolf-timmar?

Idag har jag sett på filmen "Timmarna" (The Hours) med min 2:a i Sv B. Vi har diskuterat Woolf och hennes likar under modernismen och nästa vecka ska vi ha ett litteraturseminarium ihop med engelskläraren - hon och jag tyckte att denna film skulle vara passande att diskutera då.

Det är många år sedan nu jag såg filmen och läste boken (Cunninghams alltså), tycker fortfarande att den är riktigt bra. Något jag blev väldigt sugen på är att ta tag i att komma igenom Woolfs Mrs Dalloway. Jag har försökt mig på den flera gånger men ger alltid upp efter ca 30 sidor. Jag tror att det får bli ett sommarprojekt.
